Chamber Choir “Quod Libet”
“What you like” or “For everyone’s taste”
Do you love singing polyphonic music of all eras, or would you like to find out whether this is something for you? Then we would like to invite you to come visit us during one of our rehearsals.
What we offer:
- Weekly rehearsals under the professional guidance of our fantastic conductor Johannes Gierl. Rehearsals are on Thursday night 20:00-22:15 at the English Church, Ary van der Spuyweg in The Hague.
- A variety of programs of classical and modern composers. Examples of past programs can be found on our website www.kamerkoorquodlibet.nl
- Singing in a chamber choir of skilled/trained amateur musicians, a great atmosphere, enthusiasm for creating a nice choral sound together, and occasional social events.
What we ask:
- Love for singing, preferably some experience singing in parts.
- Ability to read music; if you can sight-sing, all the better. Some home studying is expected.

This year exists Quod Libet 50 years! We are celebrating that with a concert-trip to the Thiérache (in the north-east of France).
